Upgrades an existing DGN where the schema may have changed between OpenPlant Modeler versions. This upgrade is only required if the schema has changed to a point where the two schemas are not compatible (such as the data type for a property has changed).

For example, in previous releases, the BEND_POINT_RADIUS property of the MITERED_PIPE_BEND class was defined as a string. In the newest release, this property type has changed to Double. This will cause issues for the Mitered Bends if you are using an older model (designed in an earlier release) with the latest version of OpenPlant Modeler .

The image below, the Mitered Elbow was designed in an earlier OpenPlant Modeler version. When opened in the current version, the manipulation points are all located at the same point because the BEND_POINT_RADIUS is not being read correctly:

Once you have set the configuration variables and run the upgrade keyin the manipulation points will display correctly as shown:
